Addressing the Cybersecurity Workforce Shortage Webinar

June 18, 2019

The increased need for cybersecurity professionals continues to grow worldwide and it is predicted that the global workforce will have more than 1.8M unfilled cybersecurity positions by 2022. What are organizations doing to address this shortage of cybersecurity professionals and the increased number of cyber threats?

Mac McMillan, CEO of CynergisTek, and Marcie Stout, Virtual CISO of CynergisTek, talked about some of the different programs that are being developed and were recently established to address the future of filling cybersecurity positions. They also looked at what some hospitals are doing right now to address these challenges and provide guidance on how to find resources to close these gaps.
